A Hundred Comforts - Poetry Concert
Kiran Nadar Museum of Art in collaboration with Polish Institute in New Delhi presents a poetry recital dedicated to Wisława Szymborska, a Polish female poet who won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1996.
The poems were translated by Renata Czekalska and Ashok Vajpeyi into Hindi and published in 2004. A selection of poems shows the imagination, a humor, irony and the dialectics of chance and necessity.
During the performance musicians will sing both in Polish and Hindi. English translation will also be delivered to the audience. Along with music, the visual arts will be displayed which will make the whole performance a multi- sensory experience.
