KNMA Community Project, Mobile Mohalla by Khirkee Collective and Revue
29 February 2020
Venue: Khirki Extension
Khirkee Collective honoured Diyaji, a local Presswali (washer woman) by celebrating her site of work as a temporal archive at Khirki Extension. Revue in association with Khirkee Collective, a group of young adults from Khirki and Hauz Rani, has been working on project Mobile Mohalla since 2015. The project was conceived with the support of Kiran Nadar Museum of Art as a part its community projects programme. In its second phase, Mobile Mohalla presented a series of performances and happenings in the neighbourhood, celebrated individuals in the locality whose presence has been imperative for the locality to evolve into an organic living space.
